I'm Thomas LeMoine, founder of LeMoine's Structural and Sanitary Designs, and Certified Engineering Technician (C.Tech.) with the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT). Backed by 3 years of studying Civil Engineering Technology at Georgian College’s Barrie Campus and extensive experience carrying out drawing examination and building inspections, I am well equipped to provide high-quality design and permitting solutions for Ontario’s unique cottage country and beyond.
After graduating in 2019, I began my career as an Engineering Technician with a number of different private firms, where I gained valuable insights into the engineering and consulting world. In 2022, I transitioned to the public sector as a Building Inspector with the Township of Muskoka Lakes, and within two years, I advanced to the role of Deputy Chief Building Official with the Township of the Archipelago. In these positions, I developed strong expertise in reviewing building and septic permit drawings for compliance with the Ontario Building Code and municipal zoning by-laws.
